The Packo IML series are submersible cantilever pumps designed for installation in a sump or tank, with only the casing and impeller submerged. The absence of a mechanical seal and slide bearing in contact with the liquid makes these pumps maintenance-friendly and reduces downtime.
They are robustly constructed with stainless steel 316L pressed or investment-cast pump casings and are available with open, semi-open, closed, or vortex impellers. Available in NP, ICP, MCP, IFF, and MFF versions, these pumps are a reliable component for demanding industrial processes.
Applications
- Metal finishing industry: degreasing, pickling, phosphatizing
- Industrial spray washers
- Water treatment and waste processing
- Galvanizing and coating industry
- Chemical industry: handling corrosive liquids, slurries, hot oils, and industrial wastes
Benefits
- Cantilever design ensures leakage-free operation with no mechanical seals or plain bearings in contact with the liquid
- Reduced downtime and lower operating costs due to sealless design
- Resistant to dry running and harsh operating conditions
- Electropolished finish enhances corrosion resistance and facilitates handling of sticky or viscous liquids
- Versatile impeller types (open, semi-open, closed, vortex) ensure reliable performance across various industrial applications
