FAM STUMABO is strengthening its international presence with new facilities in the United States, Spain, and Germany. The new facility in Franklin, Wisconsin, extends customer support across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and marks a strategic shift toward direct market engagement. The expansion reflects FAM STUMABO’s continued investment in local responsiveness and service excellence.

FAM STUMABO, specialist in precision cutting solutions for the food industry, is expanding its global operations with new premises in North America and Europe. The expansion underscores the company’s commitment to localised service, technical innovation, and long-term strategic growth.

The company has opened a new U.S. headquarters in Franklin, Wisconsin, reflecting its strategic move toward direct operations in North America, enabling it to serve customers across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico with greater speed, flexibility, and industry focus. It follows the opening of new facilities in Niederzissen (Germany) and Paterna (Spain), each serving as regional hubs for full-service customer support, technical assistance, and in-house testing. 

The expansion strengthens FAM STUMABO’s ability to support customers through local teams with deep knowledge of their regional markets. These local teams are supported by the company’s headquarters in Belgium, which provides additional technical expertise and support when needed.

Until recently, FAM STUMABO operated in North America through a distributor primarily focused on the dairy segment. The transition to direct operations enables the company to serve a broader range of industries — including fruits and vegetables, meat, and alternative proteins — with advanced cutting solutions supported by responsive technical assistance.

The Franklin facility is strategically located near major transportation hubs, improving accessibility for customers across the Midwest and West Coast. It complements the company’s existing site in Sarasota, Florida, which continues to serve the East Coast — together, they provide full North American coverage.

On-site test lab for informed decision making and tailored solutions

The new location features an on-site test lab, where FAM STUMABO specialists can assist customers in selecting the best machines for their operations through demonstrations and tests to validate feasibility and optimize the product. Customers can send their products for testing or visit the lab for a first-hand experience of the machine. 

In both cases, they will receive detailed reports, complete with video footage and images, as well as their processed sample material. Industrial- grade refrigerated and freezer storage maintains product quality throughout testing and return shipment.

FAM STUMABO also facilitates in-line testing of machines at customer sites to evaluate their performance in real-life conditions.
