公司描述

Sereni Fries Ltd is a Kenyan food processing company that specializes in producing fresh-cut and frozen potato products—serving both food service and retail sectors.

Established in 2012 and formally incorporated in 2015, Sereni processes varieties such as raw sliced fries, potato wedges, whole peeled potatoes, and pre-cooked crisp cuts under its consumer-facing brand Tasty Bits for retail and raw-cut products for hotels, fast-food outlets, and supermarkets.

Headquartered in Nairobi’s Athi Business Park, the company operates three processing facilities in Nairobi (Mlolongo), Nakuru, and Mombasa, reaching consumers in major urban areas across Kenya. Sereni maintains a vertically integrated supply model by sourcing ware potatoes directly from over 500 small- and medium-scale farmers in key growing counties like Meru, Nakuru, and Nyandarua—supporting more than 3,000 farmers through contract farming and agronomy training in climate-smart practices to ensure consistent quality.

The company currently processes around 1,200 tonnes of potatoes annually, with a capacity of 150 tonnes/month of fresh-cut products. Sereni’s offerings are supported by cold‑storage infrastructure (including a 500 MT facility) and stringent quality protocols approved by Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS).

The company participation in the EU‑funded AgriFI Kenya Challenge Fund, which helped Sereni extend its contract-farming reach and strengthen farmer resilience.
