Kufri Tejas is a medium-maturing (90 days), heat-tolerant potato clone for table use. It yields 37–40 t/ha, giving a 9–16% advantage over Kufri Bhaskar, Kufri Kiran, and Kufri Surya. The variety produces white-cream, ovoid tubers with shallow eyes and white flesh, has excellent storability, and is recommended for the plains of North and Central India.
