Event Description

Hort Connections 2026 will take place from June 1–4, 2026, at the Adelaide Convention Centre in South Australia. As the leading horticulture conference and trade show in Australasia, the event will once again bring together thousands of professionals from across the fruit, vegetable, and floral sectors, including growers, suppliers, researchers, retailers, and policymakers. The 2026 edition is set to be the most comprehensive yet, expanding into a full four-day experience that emphasizes innovation, sustainability, and collaboration across the entire horticulture value chain.

The conference will feature a broad and dynamic program designed to inspire growth and connection within the industry. More than 60 expert speakers are expected to present across multiple plenary and concurrent sessions, addressing the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing horticulture today.

Topics will include sustainability, climate resilience, automation, artificial intelligence, consumer trends, supply chain innovation, and the future of labor and workforce development. With a strong focus on practical applications, many sessions will also highlight new technologies, research breakthroughs, and case studies from growers and innovators across Australia and New Zealand.

The trade show will remain a major centerpiece of the event, showcasing over 225 exhibitors from Australia and abroad across more than 12,000 square meters of exhibition space. This vibrant marketplace will provide attendees with hands-on exposure to the latest advancements in equipment, packaging, digital technologies, logistics, and crop management solutions. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to connect directly with growers, decision-makers, and potential partners, while delegates will gain valuable insight into emerging trends shaping the horticulture sector.

Networking will be another key focus of Hort Connections 2026. The expanded four-day format allows for a variety of social and professional gatherings, including the Welcome Reception, trade show happy hour, sponsor breakfasts, and the highly anticipated Gala Dinner and Horticulture Awards for Excellence. These events provide ideal settings for delegates to share experiences, celebrate achievements, and form partnerships that drive the industry forward.

Attendees will also have the chance to participate in off-site experiences such as farm and retail tours. These visits will showcase local innovation in sustainable farming practices, advanced production methods, and fresh produce merchandising, giving participants a firsthand look at successful real-world operations.
