Anuga 2027

Anuga 2027 is scheduled for October 9 to 13, 2027, at the Koelnmesse trade fair grounds in Cologne, Germany, organized by Koelnmesse GmbH with support from the Bundesverband des Deutschen Lebensmittelhandels (BVLH).

This biennial event is a flagship gathering for the global food and beverage industry, structured into ten specialized segments under one roof. These include Fine Food, Drinks, Chilled & Fresh Food, Meat, Frozen Food, Dairy, Bread & Bakery, Hot Beverages, Organic, and Alternatives. The fair brings together manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, and service providers in food, as well as buyers and decision-makers from retail, foodservice, hotel and catering, import/export, and related sectors.

Exhibitors at Anuga 2027 use halls 1 through 11 (plus Confex) to present innovations in product development, packaging, sustainable sourcing, digitalization, alternative proteins, health foods, and trend-setting concepts. The event opens its doors to exhibitors from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., while visitors may enter from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The fair is strictly for trade visitors.

A hallmark of Anuga is its Taste Innovation Show, where new products are evaluated by a jury of trade journalists, scientists, and market experts. Each edition features a “Top 10 Innovations” selection from many submissions, spotlighting creative, sustainable, and market-ready offerings.

Past editions reflect the scale and international reach of Anuga: in 2025 the fair hosted over 8,000 companies from more than 110 countries, attracting over 145,000 trade visitors from around 190 nations. Hall plans, structural arrangements, and barrier-free access are carefully designed to support smooth visitor flow and optimal exhibitor exposure.

Anuga also integrates a rich program of congresses, forums, and special events aligned with global trends and food industry challenges. Topics like climate-resilient supply chains, food safety, digital transformation, and alternative protein sources feature prominently. 

For travel logistics, Koelnmesse is well connected via public transport: many metro, tram, and suburban rail lines stop nearby the exhibition area. During the fair, an admission ticket typically also functions as local public transport access (in designated zones). 

In essence, Anuga 2027 promises to be a comprehensive platform where global players in food and beverages converge to launch innovations, forge trade relationships, and chart the course for future trends in the industry.
