Layton Systems embarks on a new era under Gary and Alan Hafner, continuing a legacy of innovation and excellence.
Gary and Alan Hafner Take Majority Ownership of Layton Systems, Paving Way for Growth and Innovation

Layton Systems announced that Alan Hafner, previously a minority owner, together with his father, President Gary Hafner, have acquired a majority ownership in the company through the purchase of shares from Julia Rich, widow of the late Jerry Allen-Rich. Longtime owner Gary Gretzinger continues to retain his minority interest.
Layton Systems was originally founded by John Layton, whose vision and innovation established the company’s reputation for excellence. The late Jerry Allen-Rich carried that legacy forward, building Layton Systems into the respected business it is today. This new transition honors that history while positioning the company for continued growth under the Hafners’ leadership.
Gary Hafner, President and Co-Owner of Layton Systems:
"We are honored to build on the strong foundation that John Layton created and Jerry Allen-Rich so successfully advanced. Alan and I are committed to guiding Layton Systems into its next era while remaining true to the company’s values and mission."
Alan Hafner, Co-Owner of Layton Systems:
"With our combined vision and commitment, we will continue serving clients with excellence while driving innovation and growth in the years ahead."
Julia Rich, Former Shareholder of Layton Systems:
"Layton Systems has been such an important part of Jerry’s life and legacy. I’m confident that Gary and Alan will continue to lead the company with the same values, commitment, and vision that Jerry held dear."
Gary Gretzinger, Minority Owner of Layton Systems:
"I’m excited to continue my partnership with Alan and Gary. Together, we are well-positioned to strengthen Layton Systems’ leadership in the industry and achieve long-term success."
