Chick-fil-A Sauce Flavored Waffle Potato Chips
Chick-fil-A Launches New Waffle Potato Chips and Sauce-Inspired Flavors Nationwide

Chick-fil-A has several new menu introductions coming Aug. 18 to restaurants nationwide, including a new twist on its signature chicken sandwich and one of its seasonal beverages.
Following a successful test in Raleigh, N.C. last spring, the Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich will be rolled out nationally. The sandwich includes a toasted pretzel bun, lettuce, sliced tomato, cheddar cheese, strips of applewood-smoked bacon, and a side of Creamy Dijon Mustard Sauce. Guests can choose an original, spicy, or grilled chicken filet for the sandwich.
The chain is also bringing back its Cherry Berry beverage lineup for a second year. The offerings were first introduced last spring and now also include a new Cherry Berry & Sprite offering — the chain’s first-ever seasonal soda.
The full Cherry Berry lineup includes:
- Cherry Berry & Sprite: A sparkling mix of Sprite with natural cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavors
- Cherry Berry Lemonade: Classic Chick-fil-A Lemonade with natural cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavors
- Cherry Berry Frosted Lemonade: A blend of Icedream frozen dessert and classic Chick-fil-A Lemonade mixed with natural cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavors
- Cherry Berry Sunjoy: A blend of Sweetened Iced Tea and Lemonade mixed with natural cherry, blueberry, and cranberry flavors
Allison Duncan, Director of Menu and Packaging at Chick-fil-A:
"We are always looking for ways to surprise our guests with new and unique menu offerings, and this year’s fall lineup presents even more opportunities for guests to customize and make them their own."
"Our guests’ demand for bold, fun beverages is only growing and Cherry Berry’s return, now with a bubbly twist, brings something fresh and unexpected to our lineup. The Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich offers the perfect complement: it’s savory with layers of flavor that feel indulgent, yet distinctly Chick-fil-A."
New Waffle Chips
Also starting Aug. 18, Chick-fil-A will debut two new potato chip varieties, now offered in a waffle-style cut resembling the chain’s signature fries. They include Original Flavor Waffle Potato Chips, sprinkled with sea salt, and Chick-fil-A Sauce Flavored Waffle Potato Chips, inspired by the brand’s signature smoky and tangy sauce.
The new chips will be available as a permanent side item, an on-the-go snack, or a catering option. They will also be available to purchase in 7-ounce-size bags in select retail locations across the Atlantic and Southeast regions later this fall.
Chick-fil-A first introduced Waffle Potato Chips in 2017 as a catering option. In 2018, the chain expanded the snack to menus in restaurants. This introduction marks the first sauce-flavored waffle chips, as well as a refreshed recipe for the original chips, according to the company.
Chick-fil-A is one of just a handful of restaurant companies that have introduced branded potato chips, joining Buffalo Wild Wings, Panera, Hooters, and Jimmy John’s. Snacks in general are booming in the restaurant space as they provide an opportunity for both incremental sales and guest frequency. According to Technomic’s 2025 Snacking Consumer Trend Report, 75% of Americans surveyed snacked at least once a day in 2024, and 52% snacked at least twice daily, up slightly from 50% in 2021.
