Layton Systems is a manufacturer of (food) processing equipment, including machinery to process potatoes, snacks and nuts.

In January of 2007 Layton Systems (at the time known as the Layton Manufacturing Company) purchased Welliver Metal Products, the manufacturer of the in the potato processing industry widely applied Layton/Welliver Diameter Graders.

In addition, Layton purchased ABM McLaughlin Co., a 70-year-old company, that was a leader in the design and manufacture of Automated Processing Equipment, primarily for the Berry and Nut Processing Industries.
