Pest Pros, a division of Allied Cooperative based in Plainfield, Wisconsin, offers comprehensive crop consulting and plant disease diagnostic services to growers.
Since 1984, the division has specialized in managing crop challenges through services such as nematode testing, potato early dying assays, free soybean cyst nematode screening, disease diagnostics, soil and tissue analysis, and crop scouting.
Pest Pros also publishes weekly crop status updates and provides crop status insights to help farmers make timely management decisions. The division supports risk evaluation and treatment planning using tools like proprietary nematode risk matrices and STORECAST disease indexing for potato storage.

Early 2012, Pest Pros Inc was acquired by Wisconsin River Co-op, which merged in April of 2013 with Farmers’ Co-op Supply & Shipping Association of West Salem. The new cooperative has been named “Allied Cooperative”.

Randy Van Haren Enters WPVGA Hall of Fame
Pest Management Specialist Randy Van Haren, who established Pest Pros, Inc. of Plainfield, in 1984, was inducted into the Wisconsin Potato & Vegetable Growers Association (WPVGA) Hall of Fame at the industry’s Annual Awards Banquet held February 8, 2023, in Stevens Point.
