Packo Verder IRP Plus – General Industrial Centrifugal Pump

The Packo IRP+ Series is engineered for air-handling applications where liquid with entrained gas must be pumped reliably. The pump casing is made from thick cold-rolled stainless steel 316L, non-porous and extremely smooth. The impellers (open or closed) are investment-cast in stainless steel 316L or duplex alloys and the wetted surfaces are electropolished for improved corrosion resistance.

Applications & Benefits:

This series features a unique air-handling design with a cleanable air separator and a bypass to the pump casing for air evacuation. It is particularly suited for CIP return circuits and unloading tankers/trucks. Benefits include higher efficiency than conventional liquid-ring pumps, lower NPSH for reduced cavitation risk, electropolished wetted surfaces for corrosion resistance, easy installation and maintenance, standardised mechanical seal diameter across the range, and limited noise levels.
